Looking to expand upon their Lego Movie partnership, Chiquita needed a creative campaign that encapsulated the humor of the film and tied it in with their own irreverent brand voice — all using limited assets and information.
There was a minor character “Banarnar” with a very small role—so we turned this obstacle into the core strength. We capitalized on Banarnar’s short-lived ‘cameo’ to develop a larger-than-life persona, positioning him as the self-proclaimed star of the movie – and created a campaign to celebrate it.
